    PSA……. The “Schlock” that I feature on this forum is actual fishing gear. That seems appropriate for a fishing website! Phil has always graciously encouraged us to do that.     Back to the jigs, they were made as a versatile jig for many applications. It’s great for our new craw coming out soon. It’s fantastic in rocks and actually raises the tail end of the bait vertically when pulling it over cover, due to the 60 degree flat eye 32798 Mustad hook and the flat angled surface below the hook eye. Comes in 3/0 and 4/0 depending if you get a 1/4 Oz, or a 5/16 Oz head. The single wire weedguard works well for the smaller jigs but we will make bigger size jigs with a brush type weedguard.

    Also the team of Jeff Shultz and Chris Barlyski won 3 tournaments in 3 days using this jig. Jeff told me 75% of the fish he caught this weekend were in the Blitz jig.

    Our new jigs at Tackle Max These jigs are perfect river jigs for a Beaver, craw, or many other baits. They preform well in rocks and rarely get hung up. They were designed by tried and true mathematically perfect deflection angles. I actually used the angles off of the front of a German Panzer tank but thought the old WW2 crowd wouldn’t like that name !😂 Blitz name is close enough. www.tackle-max.com

    Most use an 1/8 Oz Ned head, or a Ned Head with EWG 1/0 . I also drop shot it.
