If MU was coached like SLU they would very tough to beat. SLU Is probably one of the best defensive teams in the country. I am not guite sure of haith as a coach, but that man can recruit. As far as anderson the one thing about his style is when it works the team looks almost unbeatable, but it is a longer time to build and teach that style. When it doesn't work it can look atrocious. I remember when MU dismantled Memphis in the tourney several years ago, that was his style at it best.

I am a Manning fan and will be rooting for the Bronco's in the Super Bowl. I don't like the Seahawks for much the same reason as Wayne Stated above. I can't route for the Patriots because of the spy gate deal either. They haven't won one since that came to the surface.. Then again I route for the Rams...so not much to be excited about the last decade.

The cubs don't actually make the playoffs though...so I say braves of hockey minus the one championship, but the blues need to go deep this year no doubt about that.

Surprised the Wings have that many going to the Olympics. It kind of stinks not playing them much anymore.

Yeah, that was a bad game. They don't run much of an offense, which is frustrating to watch. They have some talent and more on the way, but it is probably a couple years, before they can really challenge the big guns.

I think I read 10 players from the Blues will playing for their countries in the Olympics...that is a lot! Hopefully, they stay healthy.

I will be interested to see how the league adjusts to Malzahn's offense as we head into next year, but Auburn is probably the favorite to win the SEC again. I think coaches will look at the Missouri game film for pointers. lol. Number 5 is fair spot for Mizzou, but it is hard to not look at the Auburn game and think our defensive scheme really hurt us. From what I saw last night, we would have played with FSU. SEC will be a true dog fight next year, with no real dominant team except maybe Auburn. Lot's of excitement to come especially in the East.

Look's like Josey is leaving early along with Ealy...I was really hoping those two would have stayed. Two things to look for next year: The first is Mauk's ability to throw the 5-15 yard pass. He throws a great deep ball, but struggled with intermediate/short passes. He cleans that up the offense should be very good. In some ways next year we might be a bit like A&M. Great to good offense, but defense worries me heading into next year. Sam, Ealy, and Gaines are NFL bound. Those are tough shoes to fill. Hope I am wrong, but our defense may take a step back. All that being said there are ton of new QB's across the SEC next year...so it should be really exciting.

Mizzou spproached the auburn game with a defense many teams used to defend the wishbone. It was decidly different than the rest of the year. My issue is it pretty much took our strength out of the game.

I carry 4-5 pairs of those really cheap jersey gloves that fit tight to your hands and switch them out after they get wet...which eventually they will. I ilke the ones without any grip as I can still feel what is going on and control my line without it sticking to the grip on my gloves.

At least you guys on the west side have an NFL to route for. We haven't had an NFL team in STL for years....
