    no boating on that part but I have waded. there will be pools at the lower acess but nothing moving.

    I may try and get my riverboat in that hole sometime and spend the whole day jig fishing.

    the cold front made the fishing rough but I had a great time. I havent figured out how to catch the fish in that hole but they have to be there. I dont know how you eliminate water when everywhere looks like perfect cover for fish.

    if the sun is up I wear sunglasses, always. My uncle told me a couple decades ago that any time you fish with trebles wear a hat and glasses just in case.

    my wife's cousin's husband is a guide in calico and three years ago a customer hooked him in the eye. he has lost nearly all vision in the eye.

    I try to explain how much I love my son to people and the best I can come up with is "You dont truly know love until you have a child" the way my sons face lights up when he hears the atv fire up is the best thing ever.

    my son is 17 months old, and it seems every day there is something new. I couldnt imagine being away from my son for a full day.

    why cant you live on a river and be up the hill enough to not get flooded? If I had to pick a lake it would be BS. There are plenty of rural places around the lake.

    brett, you can come next year, this ride is a benefit for the wish I could of NELA. it is like the make a wish foundation. mic, no I am barefoot, my crocs didnt make it a mile in.

    Yesterday I participated in a yearly ride thru the swamp in Hebert, LA. halfway through I came across this little guy swimming in a mudhole and felt I had to check it out.
