If a AGFC person actually wrote this then he needs fired. There are only 5 public access points(6 if you count parking at the George's creek bridge and dragging your stuff down) from Pyatt to the confluence with the white river. I am thinking this AFGC person hasn't floated between the slab and yellville because within a mile you can notice the water starting to disappear and by the time you get to yellville(this time of year) there isn't enough water for anything.
What I am saying is this is likely a bogus article.
I caught this dude while fishing on the south fork river friday. He fought really well and his hump was all muscle. It even had what seemed like more "teeth" than a regular smallmouth.
after your time and materials it will end up costing almost as much to make a aluminum boat as to buy one. Then you will have a boat with the worst characteristics for a river boat: everything is loud in an aluminum boat and aluminum hangs on rocks badly.
Those look great. Makes me wish I had time to mess with my airbrush stuff. I got everything to paint with and on just no time.
FWIW, the bluegill I saw yesterday on CC had a orange spot right at their tail.
When I set up just shuttle last night I was only on the phone for 2 minutes. Probably fixing to be 30 at the ramp this morning
*edited because of auto-correct screwup*
I feel that if someone opens fire in your general direction you have every right to fire back at them. I never carry a gun but if I did I would have to be prepared to use it.
The no fishing around marinas laws piss me off. We arent hurting anything fishing around marinas. I grew up in TX and marinas were one of the best places to fish.
