snagged in outlet 3 Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 Hey guys Can anyone recommend a resort on the water south of the dam? I can't sift through all the listings to find out which ones are in that area. We need a 3 bedroom cabin or condo. Big Cedar is booked but I don't know of any others in that area. We don't want to mess with the traffic on Indian Point everyday to get to the dam to trout fish. Thanks in advance! SIO3
techo Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 Isn't Babbler's White River Lodge down south? I doubt you could go wrong with them. Tim Carpenter
Dutch Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 Have you tried the site owner? Phil Lilly at Lilly's landing.
snagged in outlet 3 Posted July 4, 2009 Author Posted July 4, 2009 Thanks Dutch! He's on Taney we want Tablerock. I have rented his Point Royale Condo earlier this year and it was great. I've also asked him this question in the past and he doesn't have anywhere to recommend. The family wants to be on the water at Trock to swim, boat and relax. I on the other hand want to trout fish. Thanks Techo. I went to his website and he's not on the water. Keep em coming guys. SIO3
motoman Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 I know family and friends have used this site before with good luck. VRBO-Vacation Rentals by Owners - http://www.vrbo.com/vacation-rentals/usa/missouri - But I know a co-worker was looking for something a couple weeks ago at the rock, for the end of July, and a lot of places were already booked in their price range................but it's worth a shot. :-)
Dutch Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 I used to stay at Aunts Creek Resort. It is on the water north of Kimberling City.
