After yesterday's rain, Table Rock is expected to rise to 927, according to the COE.

Flood gates as well as turbines will run starting tomorrow until the lake is down to manageable levels. Might take as long as a week.

We're up 2'-8 1/2" in 18 hours. 11 feet could happen.

The James River by my house was easily up 12 feet this morning as I had to turn around and go another way to work since it was over the road. There is lots of water on the way!

Yes the lake is coming up fast. At noon Fri. at the Cape Fair Marina there was current and large trees going around the bend out of sight. At dark the mud and trash had made it to Piney crk. Also there was big round bales floating at the bridge. You might wan't to stay down lake for a few days.

That 927msl forecast was made based on last week's deluge. Unfortunately, more rain is on the way http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?s...2&map.y=242

Some docks already inaccessible from land so check before you come.
