Years ago I had a family to feed and kept several 4,5 lbers to eat...love em if they're cooked right, no blood line a must.

Nice fish weren't so rare back then...most monsters were released, just old and sluggish most of the time anyway.

Figured this would either piss some off or hopefully scare you...bad part about this is we had just got back from the North Fork Tailwaters and the White and didn't do much good...same afternoon went down to the current and caught fish like this one, thought what in the heck are we drivin to Ark. when we have this at home.

Just enjoyed fishing different water, sure many can relate.

Just thought this was an exceptionally pretty fish.

Have you ever caught a big fish totally baked? It's a trip man. I highly recommend setting that up...if that's your thing. I retired from all that a long time ago. But good times...used to love fishing with a nice bag of pot. It made me concentrate, not as much weight in the canoe, and not as many pee breaks. Lots of snack breaks, though, and it's harder to tie knots for some reason. Oh, and it makes you stupid. Can't forget that one.
