Brian K. Shaffer Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 I'm pretty sure Phil told me it was 28.8lbs. 38 inches with a 24.5 inch girth !? I might have that wrong. Just once I wish a trout would wink at me! ozarkflyfisher@gmail.com I'm the guy wearing the same Simms longbilled hat for 10 years now.

Brian K. Shaffer Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 That's so funny that guy says " is that including the bucket or not ? " And when Scott said he couldnt remember his own telephone number he was so excited. Should be a new 4lb test line record with IGFA too ? Right ? TroutRinger Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 THAT THING IS A MONSTER!!! Gonna be released? I can't imagine it could survive all of that. That thing had a long day! "Of all the liars among mankind, the fisherman is the most trustworthy." "There's a fine line between fishing and standing on the shore like an idiot."
laker67 Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 Should be a new 4lb test line record with IGFA too ? Right ? The late Rip Collins still holds that with 40 pounds 4 ounces. Scott's fish would be considered "all tackle" and not fly rod. The fly rod world record for four pound is nineteen pounds even, out of argentina.
