Please do not say anything about lures as being "Hot" or "Killer" as I will then feel compelled to buy them.

For some reason, I just like the action of the 112 better. I have no empirical evidence that the fish prefer one over the other. It's a confidence and usage matter.

I ordered 2 of them today. No more, please no more, I can't take it, my credit card is going to be obliterated from overuse, there had to be an end to this, I can't believe there is yet another make/model of jerkbait coming out this year.. and of course it will be a hot bait, the fish will be all over it, so I must buy....aaaiiiieeee!!!!!!

Maybe it was just off days or poor color selection. Also, what time of the year was it. Just curious, as I really like the looks of the McStick and know that Mike tested them on the White River at one point when develping them.
Gavin Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 Ditto...I've fished a McStick, in my swimming pool for a bout 10 minutes to get a feel for it...and on the Current for 15 minutes on 4 separate occassions when other baits were working.......not a touch. Think I have an old glory and a blue bandit...soon to be heading to ebay.
Ham Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 I own three colors in the McStik. Norman Flake. TR Shad. Chrome Shad. I'm not saying I've worn them out on it, but it has caught trout. Browns and Bows. More to the point I was trying to make, I thik they all work SO throw what you like and what you can afford to lose. I've heard the Slender Pointers have a fragile bill.
