Jason Essary Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 A friend but me on a website that has copies of Lucky Craft sticks. Worked one last week and was as happy with it as any lucky craft Ive thrown. The come without hooks and clevis's, but still a good deal compared to the other. Suspend pretty well, had to add one stick of lead to the rear hook and it was perfect. I have 10 on the way, will supply pics when I recieve them. Give them a look. http://www.jannsnetcraft.com/crankbait-bodies/341521.aspx Essary Construction - Honest work for honest price Custom Construction and Remodeling Call for free quotes (417)338-6418 http://essarycustomhomes.com/

denjac Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 Acadamy sports has their store brand (H20) knock offs of popular baits for $3.99 There jerk bait isnt bad. Dennis Boothe Joplin Mo. Gone Fishing Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 Jann's Netcraft does have some good deals on hard baits. It is a great place for the person who likes to build it yourself. The one thing I don't like about it is the price of shipping. I guess tacklewarehouse can spoil a person.
Quillback Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 Thanks for that link Jessary, I may pick some up myself.
powerdive Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 Not cheap, but cheaper than you'd expect... Some friends have started a new biz locally (in Springfield), selling new and closeout outdoor gear on the web. They currently have a pretty good selection of Megabass hardbaits at the lowest price available anywhere, and if you buy 3 or more, shipping is free: http://www.sportsmansfactoryoutlet.com/servlet/the-Fishing-Gear-%26-Equipment-cln-Fishing-Lures-%26-Baits-cln-Hardbaits/Categories As I said, Megabass isn't cheap, but if you like 'em and you're looking for a great deal, there it is. "Reasonable" is a relative term...
Gavin Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 Price is relative......A $20 hard jerk bait usually lasts alot longer than 4-5 bags of Flukes. Cheers.
Gone Fishing Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 Powerdrive, do the megabass come with hooks and split rings.

"Reasonable" is a relative term... No way am I gonna pay $21.00 for a bait I don't care how good someone says they are. It costs them at the most maybe $2.00 to $3.00 to make it so I am not buy them new Ranger boat which they gonna get with the profits. Respect your Environment and others right to use it!

I have bought quite a few from Jann's Net craft. I buy them unpainted and paint them myself. I have been using them for over a year now and they work fine, some need tuning but so do baits that I buy form Bass Pro. Here is what I have been doing with them.
