"holy" Mcstick

I have a couple of McSticks that have sprung a leak. Obviously, they sink like a rock. I cannot visually see any holes in them, but they are slowly filling with water. Haven't tried anything to fix them yet or to identify the leak. Anybody have any ideas?

Not very happy with the baits durability, but they are fastly becoming my favorite jerkbait. Has anybody else had any major problems with this bait. I know John at F & F told me to glue the seams, should have listened.

I'd seriously check the return policy of where you bought them. You're the third or fourth person I've heard this from.

Not sure if it was the water temp or pressure in the air but all my jerkbaits were sinking faster than norm yesterday.

Tied on several others and they were fine. I going to call SPRO and see what they say about the situation

We had a couple mcsticks leak last year. It was on the steam towards the back. I used super glue and they work great.

I've noticed a little variability in how "heavy" they are and in how deep they will run, but so far I have not had any leakers.

I mentioned earlier that the jerkebait is a two-piece and the seam can leak around the hook eyes and the nose. Some of them have been coming apart after fighting a fish or two, superglue or nail polish can fix this.

For 12-15$, depending on where you get them, i am not messing around with faulty products. That much for a single lure and there are problems? Why would it be the responsibility of the consumer to fix the manufacturers error/screw ups? If it were me i would just take them back to place of purchase or send them to spro.

Orrrrrrrrrr, if you don't want to or can't return them to a retailer or the manufacturer. I'm sure some of the guys (myself included ) who love to tinker/modify/paint cranks would take them off your hands. At a discounted rate of course.

I haven't been very impressed with the McStick at the price point they have them for. A little known lure for the same money, the XCaliber XS4, is my pick.
