According to the Farm report Saturday morning they are predicting a above normal rain fall for the Ozarks this spring.Wonder if that is why the Corp is dropping the lake levels.

Just looked at a long forecast and predicted the same and this weather pattern that we are in now to hold at least through the middle of March. But what do the weather guessers really know?

It does seem that the only thing they can predict with any success is sunrise and sunset

Predictions of "unfavorable weather" is the only thing a weatherman has to sell. If they tell us it is going to be pleasant for weeks on end...nobody would keep tuning in to listen to them.

There is always gloom and doom in the extended forcast when it's nice, and there's always a light at the end of the tunnel when it's cold and nasty.

And the uglier the weather-person is....the more extreme the predictions get.

After this cold winter where temps have stayed 20 degrees below normal for weeks at a time, I've got cabin fever. All I can think about is spring fishing, and if we get big rains and the lakes get 30 feet above normal like two years ago, I'm gonna hire some guy to hang me.

With all due respect, I hope like hell you are wrong. I have had about enough of this weather! I am so freaking ready for warmer weather!
