stlfisher Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 Well I know that next time I call in "sick" to work to not fisher under the bridge. Then again I could call one of my buddies at work and tell him to tune in to the web cam, give him a wave, and ask him how his day is going. In all seriousness it doesn't bother me and probably cost very little to set up. In saying that, I am in favor of fish cleaning station as well. While I don't keep many fish the "gut" hatch needs to be addressed. I do like that I can see the water before I would choose to head down...that is 3 hours drive for me and opinions on fishable water aren't always the most accurate.

Pull your panties out of a wad there guy, Trout taste like Asian Carp and are as boney as a gigged sucker. Catch and release is fun though, don't have to drag them around on a stringer and trash the stream with guts. Where can you go today that you are not being filmed? Game cameras in the woods, cameras in MDC parking lots to deter vandals, etc. It is just a part of modern life, technology has gotten cheap and people are amused by it. jdmidwest Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 Hold the phone ! $165,857.04 for a fish cleaning station ? Dude, I built a 1800sq.ft. two-story house with surrounding CCA deck and a seperate 30x30' garage for 98,675.00 just a couple years ago (less the concrete work). Who bid that project out ? Or is this one of those things like the 400.00 toilet seats and 14.00 pencils at the county courthouse's ? Follow the link, it shows plans and specs, bidders list, and winning bids for all MDC projects last year. I thought it was a little pricey myself, of course it was a prevailing wage state job. trout fanatic Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 Another great use of tax dollars spent so that our illustrious leaders can watch me pea in the woods. Good job!

trout fanatic Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 pea? Of course, ya don't think I would urinate in the woods do ya?
Bill B. Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 Don't criticize "pea." You'll cause a rhubarb. It's 4:30 in the afternoon on March 3, and the bridge pool looks deserted. I'd rather be there than behind this desk.
