glennL Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 I only get a chance to get down to the lake about once a month during the spring and summer. So, all the information shared by the members of this forum is great to give me idea of where and what to look for. Even after reading all that information last year, I still only had marginal success. One of these days, I'll actually start to catch some quantities of fish and will be able to share. Until then, I do appreciate all the shared knowledge, sharing colors, fishing methods and depths. When does one stop being a lurker? Glenn

If you tell me that you tried something that didn't work, then I have no need to waste my time with it! Unless of course it was a jig.....I will always waste my time with that, but I will try a different type of location than you did! Tim Carpenter
mclothier1 Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 I make one or two trips a year to Table Rock, wish I lived closer... one of these days! After my trips are over I try to share what I find, as a novice I dont find much most of the time, but it might help others as far as what not to do. This is something I NEVER do, but I caught a nice 5# bass out of a unique location on Table Rock last summer, Since I found this secret spot, I really havent seen or heard of any other boats hitting that spot. So in the interest of sharing, I caught it right here.... Yep that is the EXACT spot, Enjoy!
techo Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 by golly,i know where that is! Meet you there! Tim Carpenter
mclothier1 Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 Well if you happen to catch Fred (that what I named him) he should be about #6 by now... just tell him I said hi, and chunk him back in his spot please.
duckydoty Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 I dont mind giving out the location of the spot that I fished and did well today.....because I wont be there tomorrow. I am hoping that members, lurkers, and everyone else that is looking for some help to catch some fish, use the information that I provide and fish tomorrow in the spot where I told them the fishing was good today. Tomorrow, I will be fishing at a new spot and providing another report to try and help out anothers fishing adventer the next day. A Little Rain Won't Hurt Them Fish.....They're Already Wet!! MstStudent10 Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 Wow, good thought on the Post about what didn't work. Usually the only time I post info is if I actually did anything worth while. Most of the times I go out (which is usually every weekend at least) I don't have much to brag about, so I keep it to myself. From now on I'll fill ya guys in on what "didn't" catch em too! I will tell you what DIDN"T catch them at Lake of the Ozarks this past weekend in the CPA, my jerkbait and jig which caught me Zero fish all day, lol!!! And unfortunately I wasn't the only one either... PS..Going to Bull Shoals this Wed and Thurs I believe and I'll be sure to fill ya guys in whether i catch em or not Set the hook first, ask questions later...
