Those are OK fish, Bill, but you could do much better if you'd get up on the bank and fish shallow. I distinctly remember reading that somewhere. :touched:

Seriously, very nice brown fish and great pics. Love the detail shots of the tackle. Denny and I had a great time Sunday. Ended up with about 14 pounds — mixed bag of LM and K's, mostly on jigs in the Kimberling to Baxter area. We'd have done a little better but Denny lost the big un I put him on. :donwan:

Just kidding, Denny. Not sure I've ever fished with a nicer guy. I wimped out about 2:30 p.m. since I'd been up at 3 a.m. and made the drive two straight mornings. Hope to fish with him again real soon.

Champ......you are naughty!

Bill, that sure is a nice report. I think you could delete all of the words and leave the pictures in the same order and someone would know what you are saying. Very nice!

I am glad the jig bite is on. Work is trying to keep me off the lake when my favorite fishing is thriving though.

I too enjoyed our outing. Fishing coulda been a litte better, but not too shabby for the high skys. Put that first point we fished in your memory banks, you can load the boat right there with a mixed bag. I was done by 2:30 too. Sun burned and hot! We will for sure do it again. Maybe we can hook up at Stockton in July.
