eric1978 Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 You probably need to invest in a little bit bigger net to scoop those gills. Good teamwork, though!

techo Posted August 23, 2010 Posted August 23, 2010 Those little poles hold up pretty well. We have been pond fishing quite a bit this summer and my friends Spiderman pole seems to catch most of the fish. Those are pics to cherish the good times! Tim Carpenter
Ranger Z22 Posted August 23, 2010 Posted August 23, 2010 There is nothing better than fishing with your kids. I was lucky this weekend, my son and his wife came down and I "played" guide for them. I did not fish but had a great weekend, we (they) caught fish, especially yesterday. Seeing these pictures reminds me when he was doing the same thing. Great times. z22

Members Lonestar Posted August 29, 2010 Members Posted August 29, 2010 My son is in TBS as a 2nd Lt. in the Marine Corps. He is coming down to Shell Knob for Labor Day Weekend to get some fishing and relaxation in, then he will finish his school, move on to MOS school, then active duty...the reason I say this is because those photos remind me of when his little sister caught a bigger fish than him, some 15 years ago. He worked and worked to perfect his fishing style and now outfishes all of us...What memories....
Spinnaker Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 I have a similar photo of my son and when he was that age and it always brings a smile and warm feeling.
