Chief Grey Bear Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 How much of that sour cream do you really taste? By the time you butter, salt and pepper, most of your sour cream taste is gone. Try putting ranch dressing on there. Especially the Bacon Ranch. OOOOOOOOOOOOOhhh its so goood. id10t Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 I dunno. I don't think I'd wanna have to bend something on a reel right out of the box to make it work right. I'd like to buy US Reels since they're US made, I just can't seem to break my old Shimano and Loomis habits. Sad to say not US MADE just us engineered and owned. They come from the big crate carrying canoes of china. They are a good reel and I felt the same way. Simple solution would have been to bend them before they shipped them or just let the customer know what needs to be done. Show the stocking dealers the fix and let them do it. It is 15 second fix. Not sure if they have it worked out on the new batches or not. They work very well with my Loomis Habit SMR751S-SP,SMR752S-SP, SMR753S-SP love them all. I did buy a Temple Fork Outfitters spinning rod designed by Gary Loomis and it is a good rod. I just wish they would make them with Tennessee Handles. Very good 99.00 rod.

Quillback Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 I have a Temple Fork rod myself, use it for pitching jigs, it's an excellent value for the money. Don't even eat baked potatoes, get yams or sweet potatoes instead, much healthier than regular potatoes. And you won't need to put nasty fat free sour cream on yams or sweet potatoes, just butter them up with some fake butter. Fake butter, though not as good as the real stuff, is not as foul as fat free sour cream.
flytyer57 Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Somebody has been doing some thread chopping.....back to five pages....hehe Nope. Still 10 pages. There's a fine line between fishing and sitting there looking stupid.
Trav Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Nope. Still 10 pages. I forgot this puter is set to have 40 posts a page..... "May success follow your every cast." - Trav P. Johnson

Give me a smashed Idaho potato with some gravy and be done with it. What's more, Idaho's make better French Fries (Freedom Fries for some of you.) KCRIVERRAT Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 What's a dime bag?? It's a bag full of something that allows you to eat Nacho Cheese Doritos right after you've threaded a Canadian Crawler on a baitholder hook... without washing your hands of course. Chief told me that... HUMAN RELATIONS MANAGER @ OZARK FISHING EXPEDITIONS
KCRIVERRAT Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 So now we'll go in that direction, eh? Okay, I'll play. I've had many, many Shimano spinning reels over the years, from mid-grade to Stella. I've had exactly one with the Shimbindo problem, a Sustain from the early 2000s, and it only happened once when I had dropped it in the river and it was completely submerged for at least 30 seconds. They are great reels otherwise, and I'll keep buying them. If it binds, I'll return it. I'm a Shimano guy too Eric. Love those reels. I do have a little Shakesphere that I like also. They've inproved. Gonna breakdown and buy a baitcaster after fishing with Chief, Buzz, Dylan, and Chief's dad. HUMAN RELATIONS MANAGER @ OZARK FISHING EXPEDITIONS
