Just got back from fishing the Colorado and tributaries in and around the Arapaho National Forest... last Friday I completed my first-ever grand slam!

Caught this jewel on a dry, in a creek not much wider than the desk I'm typing on, and about 10,000 ft. elevation.

me happy!

Crap -- the web filter here at work won't let me see the picture....

You talking brown/rainbow/brook/cutt grand-slam?

Love that area! Fished the east side back in July.

(BTW -- that avatar pic was taken on a CO River trib at about 9,000 feet, and there was a Colorado River cutt in that little pocket there that fell for a dry a few seconds later).

Have you ever completed that on the Norfolk? They have them and I did it a few years back. It definetly sounds better when your catching them in higher elevations though!

There are only three things in life that are certain : death, taxes, and the wind blowing at Capps Creek!
