KCRIVERRAT Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Tell you guys what...how about you nip the political stuff in the bud before it gets out of hand. We've been asked, repeatedly, and some of the same folks, to steer away from it. So we oughta. Seems like no matter what the hell the thread is, they always go the same direction lately. Ness, aka.."SOUP NAZI". This ain't Evan speaking tonight. Like you said, this is a "fishing forum". Simply put, comment on fishing related stuff if the rest of the crap bothers you. Please............ we've never heard of A SINGLE TRIP YOU'VE TAKEN! I've screwed up here and I know it. Hope you've taken the time to take them boys fishin', and if you have... tell us about it! ness Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Yep, and access to the streams that run through the Ozarks is pertinent to the forum, dude. Retrace the thread...you'll see I didn't steer us in this direction. You just don't like me or my opinions, so you single me out. Get over it. This conversation was civil until you got involved. I didn't single you out -- I made a general comment about politics and this forum. You tagged me King Ness, and then loaded on this crap. It's the same as always Eric -- jump to the conclusion it's directed at you and over do your response. You're narcissistic, your positions are poorly supported and you often make statements aggrandizing yourself. Closing in on 2000 posts? Don't you have a diaper to change? NOW -- that was directed at you. Chief -- you're still a putz. A mean-spirited one at that who somehow feels it's OK to say anything to anybody. Rat -- take your own advice, simply put. You guys ever read what you type? John

You guys ever read what you type? If that's not Narcissus calling someone else Narcissus...take another look in the reflection pool, buddy...oh wait, you probably are, adjusting the little badge you made with construction paper and crayons. You question the number of my posts in the same breath that you nominate yourself moderator and forum psychiatrist? Your analysis isn't needed, it's dreadfully boring and it has less to do with the topic at hand than any other post in the thread, including the quasi-political ones. Clearly I'm not the only one who is tired of you handing down your adjudications from the mountaintop, so if you don't have something relevant to say, maybe you should keep your piehole zipped. Nice job derailing the thread completely. I bet these debates are far more annoying to the actual moderators than a few posts that curve outside the foul lines for legitemate conversation's sake. your positions are poorly supported and you often make statements aggrandizing yourself I'd like to see an example of each, especially the latter. If you're gonna sling an insult at someone, it works better if it wasn't just pulled out of your butt.
Chief Grey Bear Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Chief -- you're still a putz. A mean-spirited one at that who somehow feels it's OK to say anything to anybody. I am sorry ness. ness Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Eric: I simply suggested we steer away from the politics. There were a couple posts heading that direction, by folks other than you too. Go back and read my first post with a cooler head, and then read your response and the progression all the way up to 'zip your pie hole'. I think what I suggested was pretty reasonable, and based on the history of problems in that area and requests by the site owner to avoid it. If the real moderators don't like me jumping in occasionally, they haven't mentioned anything to me yet. Your problem is you feel the need to respond to every single post, usually with some twisted world-view embedded in the response. You're like the nerdy kid who can't get anyone to see his point of view. He gets pissed because he can't make his point, and assumes everyone else is stupid because of it. This forum has given you a platform, and it's obviously one of the most important things in your life. Have a ball. Before you stretch the dislike of my methods into endorsements of your nonsense, consider the hundreds of members here that haven't posted and the 1,800-plus views of this thread as evidence that no one gives a rip what you think. You've made yourself completely irrelevant. Chief: Now we can add Jackwagon to Nancy Boy and dickweed. Keep 'em coming. I love the intelligent discourse. John
Terry Beeson Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Thanks Eric and TF... I'm not sure I agree that marriage comes under the umbrella of liberty though... And as a general statement to all including myself... Articulation, gentlemen... Still better to be thought a fool than to open one's "mouth" and remove all doubt. You've made yourself completely irrelevant. Not many here are the type to hold their tongue (or fingers, such as it is) when they strongly oppose someones statements. You appear to be in a minority on this particular thread, Ness. Not that that is an insult or anything, it's just the way it goes sometimes. Be a man and accept it. I have been there several times, and it's not that big of a deal. Assuming that because they haven't "fed off" that they must agree with YOU...is pretty pompous.
fishinwrench Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Still better to be thought a fool than to open one's "mouth" and remove all doubt. Now Terry, Someone afraid to speak their mind for fear of being wrong.... remains wrong.

Get it now? The rest of your post is just nonsense. John
