So I'm out playing with a new fly pattern today and I catch a talking White bass, he called me by name...

He said "Mr. Wrench can I ast you a querstion."

I said um...yeah.

He says..."you wansta go in the shrimpin' bidness wif me ?"

I read your post early this morning before work, and I have laughed about it most of the day. I have never seen a talking fish, but I have had several send me home talking to myself.

You think that's funny, you shoulda seen my double-take when I reached down to land him.

I was like: "Woah, PIRANHA !" and pulled my hand back real quick like.

I wonder if he was born that way or if it is the result of a childhood encounter with a roostertail and a pair of pliers. Poor guy, I bet his schoolmates pick on him something terrible. That's ok though, cuz I've named a fly after him so he'll always be remembered....
