oneshot Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 I've tried Barclay couple times lately with no Luck thinking of going closer to the Park.I'm wondering if they are holding back on Stocking on down the river because of Upgrades on the Hatchery? oneshot
fishinwrench Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 Unless they deviate from the norm, whatever trout are in the river now is all there's gonna be until Feb.- March. They are running a bit small now (too small to eat) but that's a good thing. They'll be alot more sporty and stand a chance at getting BIG if they do their growing up in the river. I haven't fished the Barclay area all year, I need to get down there.
snagged in outlet 3 Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 Not real recent but we fished Barclay on the opening weekend of CnR. Didn't catch a fish didn't see a fish. We caught fish at the canoe launch below the bridge near the park though. Caught em on buggers, eggs and worms. Nice ones too! They were eatin size for sure. I think they were stream bred also. SIO3
