Fat Boy, I'm a major fan of Rob McGilvrey at Fall Creek Lures when it comes to custom painting. I don't have a contact number for him but I'm sure someone on the forum does. I believe he's in Aurora.

I am a big fan of Dale Sellars. He is up in Wisconsin and has been featured in BASS. THere are many guys down near the Rock.

I'll second Dale Sellers. He does a very good job as well as Tim Hughes. They both have websites you can check out. I think they still charge $12 per bait to paint.

I have been looking at this guys baits and have seen none better then his. He brings a realistic look to the baits that impresses me to know end. Check out his site and look at his baits and see if you don't agree.

I dont know what post you are referring to "sometime" back but I had about 20 plus baits done by Jeff (97procraft here) last year at a FRACTION of the cost of the big time name guys. I posted the pics of his paint jobs. I dont know if he is still doing it or what he is charging these days but maybe shoot him a PM and see what he says if your interested. Hey Guys, You might want to check out baitwerks.com. This guy is awesome. He was featured in Bassmaster magazine and paints lures for Scott Rook. If you go to his website he has examples of paint jobs on all kinds of cranks and swimbaits. He is doing a special for 5 lures for $40.00 . He is out of Siloam Springs, Ar.

You are probably remembering my thread about having my favorite topwaters painted. I used Tim Hughes. There were beautifully done and arrived earlier than predicted at the time of order.
