Members EddieRay Posted October 29, 2010 Members Posted October 29, 2010 My home water would be Smithville Lake north of Kansas City but I fish a number of other lakes near my home as well. "The greatest obstacle to discovery is not ignorance - it is the illusion of knowledge." (Daniel J Boorstin)

If you vote "other" post your home waters. Hello, Currently, I do most of my fishing at Carlyle Lake in Illinois. www.carlylelake.com However, just now getting into fly fishing, so have made a few trips to MO at Blue Springs, Northfork of White, and a trip scheduled to Meremac later this month

Guest Posted April 22, 2011 Posted April 22, 2011 I voted Beaver, however: I grew up in the Arkansas Delta fishing the Mighty Mississippi, Arkansas, White, St.Francis, about anything in East Arkanasas. If it has cypress trees and lilly pads, it was home. Clear water= I can see the prop. Stained= green Muddy=chocolate milk We couldn't fish at night due to rice fields full of skeeters. Nowadays, I worry more about ticks than skeeters
Brian K. Shaffer Posted May 2, 2011 Posted May 2, 2011 I chose Taneycomo... the least judged fishery against the White. Heck, it's where I caught my first trout. 2nd I choose a secret spot where I go to catch bluegill all day long. The golfers know who I am. it is kinda fun to see where we all fish - Brian Just once I wish a trout would wink at me! ozarkflyfisher@gmail.com I'm the guy wearing the same Simms longbilled hat for 10 years now.
