Norm M Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 Kankakee River what a long strange trip it's been , put a dip in your hip, a glide in your stride and come on to the mother ship , the learning never ends
Gilly Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 If voting "Home" water, Big Piney will always be my home as I grew up 1 mile above Devils Elbow. I now have a Nitro Bass boat and I don't think it would be wise to put it on the Big Piney! (LOL) If asked where I fish the most it would be the Lake of the Ozarks, BUT, only because it is close. The traffic and water pollution there is getting WAY out of hand. Pomme is looking better and better, although I never really catch much fish there, there is less traffic, better water quality and it's not too far away. Great Poll ! I sure hope more people vote on it. If you're going to travel to Pomme, try Stockton sometime. www.drydock516.com
Members markw Posted April 11, 2010 Members Posted April 11, 2010 I'll say shoal since its closest to me.will also be going to stockton/grand/and most of the rest when I can get away
Members Daniel Gasperson Posted April 11, 2010 Members Posted April 11, 2010 Home Waters: where you fish most. where your heart is. This will give us an idea where everyone's interests are. If you vote "other" post your home waters. Taney gets my vote allthough I did get into the white bass the other night over on swan creek. I was using a 7wt rod and a PMS jig. If you like catching whites you should try swan creek right now.
Members GoodFisher Posted April 26, 2010 Members Posted April 26, 2010 Love the Lower Illinois River and surrounding area!
Members GoodFisher Posted April 26, 2010 Members Posted April 26, 2010 Lower Illinois river is my home water. AMEN BROTHER!
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted April 27, 2010 Author Root Admin Posted April 27, 2010 Sorry- I should have added the Lower Illinois River earlier... Just did.
Gatorjet Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 I guess I would have to say Taneycomo. Even though it's 200 miles from here, that is where I have been spending most of my fishing time. After almost 20 years I have finally got it through my thick skull to listen to what Phil says, and have been doing pretty good. Real men go propless!
Members lundone Posted June 15, 2010 Members Posted June 15, 2010 MIne is Stockton Lake but I wouldn't recomend anyone else fish it.
