Tim Smith Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 Here is a link to an article the Daily News did with Dave the hatchery manager. For anyone who knows Dave he tells it like it is. The funding sounds like it will get cut, but not by a drastic amount in terms. My link Link's not working for me, Ollie. You can follow the overall federal budget debate on any of the main networks. Looks like there may be another government shut down before this one is over. I guess the hatchery guys will have to show up for work whether or not they get a paycheck or everything will die.
ollie Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 Sorry, but if you go to www.neoshodailynews.com you can find on the home page. "you can always beat the keeper, but you can never beat the post" There are only three things in life that are certain : death, taxes, and the wind blowing at Capps Creek!
snagged in outlet 3 Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 Thanks Ollie. We could always drop the daily limit to 3 if need be. Pete
flytyer57 Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 Thanks Ollie. We could always drop the daily limit to 3 if need be. Pete Hey "snagged", they could just take away the fishing priveleges of "snaggers". There's a fine line between fishing and sitting there looking stupid.
snagged in outlet 3 Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 Let go of the hate FT. Let it flow from you like water through the dam. My screen name is in reference to all the controversy that was on this forum back in 2005 surrounding shuffling and snagging fish in the outlets at Taney. I don't need to snag and trout taste bad anyway. I just like to catch em. Now smallies, I love to eat smallies. Snagged
Tim Smith Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 Now smallies, I love to eat smallies. Then you might be of some use on the Columbia River.
taxidermist Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 12 billion dollar increase in funding to the USDW, but they want to cut funding. Oh crap wait this one project makes money. 1 dollar in 94 and change out.

Leave government resources for the things we need that AREN'T profitable. ....isn't that what a Libertarian would do?
