Congratulations on a beautiful fish! It's cool that you caught it from shore and right by your house!

I ended up catching several bass, my wife had one break off that was around 5lb...the table rock's frayed her line.

Key was find a wind blown shore line with muddy water. Now that the cold front came, situation might change. Normally I take my Champion out to fish, but just was too windy.

Way to go man!... and thanks for the release. She'll spawn us up some more future big'uns soon.

I always release my bass...its the crappie that have to watch out! Seriously though, Table Rock has lots of big fish in it, but the only way they get bigger is by releasing them. Replicas are the way to go if you are going to get a mount done anyway.

In my opinion, Table Rock is really coming on strong in the last 3 years. Big fish produce big fish!!

Can't wait for the night time bite to really start going too.

For you guys talking about the nighttime bite my brother brought a fatty to the boat last night. Only bite we got after dark and wouldn't you know it the scales I had were dead. 22 inches long 18 inch girth, i figured somewhere between 7 or 7.5. Caught her off a steep bluffend dragging a jig very slow. Took her by a dock with a light to get a picture then let her go about her business. Definately would have made someone very happy this weekend.
