Murdoc
Hey everyone, I've been thinking about adding a 0wt to my line up and I'm very undecided on the length. I want it to be a 4pc for sure. Could you all be so kind to give me feed back. Thank you all!!! Smiles are free http://rdpflyrods.com/
Ham
I don't see the need for anything less than a 3 wt. In fact, I feel a little under gunned with the 3 wt. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
eric1978
I agree with Ham, unless you're targeting chubs and shiners.
Gavin
I've owned & built a fair number of short light line fly rods over the years.....A couple 6' 1pc rods, 6'6" 2pc, 6'9" 2 pc, several 7' 2pc, a 7'3" 2 pc, and several 7.5' rods in 2-3pc configurations...the 6' and 6'6" rods are fun at times...trico time, etc.....but I probably wouldnt go shorter than 6'9" or 7' in the future, probably in 2-3pc configuration, the tubes are short enough as is. Cheers.
Geoff
I think a 6' or even 5'-6" 0-2wt would be awesome. "When you do things right, people wont be sure you've done anything at all."
