rps Posted July 19, 2011 Author Posted July 19, 2011 Actually, I am beginning to like the hide the face schtick. I may have to make sure I always do it. Tickles me to have two ten pound club pictures up at Walleye Central and no one can see my face.
Smalliebigs Posted July 19, 2011 Posted July 19, 2011 The Eye guru of the upper end!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really love your reports.......two wall hangers in a couple of weeks qualifies as "guru". Great job!!!!
rps Posted July 19, 2011 Author Posted July 19, 2011 The hits came traveling upstream. At that location some days are upstream days and some the opposite.
Members Just another guy'd Posted July 20, 2011 Members Posted July 20, 2011 Awesome RPS.You definatly are developing a knack for the big walleye.Do I see a future walleye guide on Table Rock?
Members BleacherBum28 Posted July 21, 2011 Members Posted July 21, 2011 @Martin - The 10/2 Power Pro probably tests out at twice its rating. If I were to switch to 15/4, I would have to carry a strong young man in the boat to break me off when I got hung up. How young is 'young'... I'll gladly pull out your hangs if you put a 10 pounder on my line. Nice job RPS... if you keep this up, all the shore pounders are gonna have down riggers on their bass boats.
Champ188 Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 Move over Gary "Mr. Walleye" Roach. There's a new sheriff in town.
Martin Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 I agree....rps' new handle should be "Wilson".... lol ... Or maybe the unknown fisherman ?
Guest Buck Creek Mike Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 Sounds like a great trip. I agree on the 10/2 powerpro, seems more like 15-20lb breaking strength. I use it for crappie fishing at LOZ, and it actually is so hard to break that I might be creating more problems than I am solving, especially if it's hung around some dock steel. I hope crappie isn't a forbidden word around here!
