jdmidwest Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 Fish do what they want to do and adapt to their surroundings. I caught a nice 19 inch rainbow a few weeks back from under a group of canoes full of party animals while floating in a yak myself in a riffle on the spring river using a little cleo. There was shadows, banging boats and paddles, noise and confusion, and almost a spilled beer in the water while I was reeling him in. But he was still bent on grabbing that little plug. The rest he was used too. "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Thompson
strangercreek Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 I suppose it's a carryover from my days as a sniper in 'Nam, but I typically wear a ghillie suit. Here I am fishing Little Piney Creek: lol
ColdWaterFshr Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 Well concealed, Ness. Good work. I generally reach for the perriwinkle windowpane blue checked shirt from J. Crew's vintage secret wash collection, $64.50 on-line special order only. It says to those fish, "HEY FISH, I'm a big masculine brute with a $900 fly-rod outfit and even though I'm handsome as a Shia Lebeouf or the lead singer of Night Ranger, nanny-nanny boo boo, you can't see me cause I'm wearing my windowpane blue perriwinkle" hahahahahahahahahahahaha
Al Agnew Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 Hah! I actually obtained the top secret alien predator technology--can't tell you how or I'd have to kill you--that renders one invisible. I'm wearing it now...can't see me typing this, can you? Here's how it works: Is that clear?

Ah, but if you look at it with polarized lenses you can clearly make out the "Al Agnew Collection" logo.. cricket.c21.com
Al Agnew Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Ah, but if you look at it with polarized lenses you can clearly make out the "Al Agnew Collection" logo.. "Al" is short for "Alien". Haven't obtained the Galactic Federation trademark yet, though.
