Robbie Dotson in the lead with 15 pounds, and it get worse after that. I believe only about 1/2 dozen limits, from the 83 pros.

Watched the weighin on the internet at Beck's house. WAY to much fish handling and keeping these fish out of the water. Probably the worst fish care I have ever seen, in any derby bar none.

Ridiculas.

Way to many Children marched up on stage with their dads, for God only know what reason. The idiot anouncer is talking to the kids and the fish are gasping. Both Beck and I were furious at the handling. None of our local derby's handle fish in that kind of a carless manner.

They need to stop all this Bull -----. Weigh the fish and get it moving. I could give a flip about TV. FLW sucks so bad they almost need to cancel the TV anyway. Just a horrible production. Take care of those fish on a HOT day.

I've a mind to go down there tomorrow and just throw a friggin fit at the way they handled the fish. Those guys need to have their head held under water and see how long they can hold their breath.

Locals and local guides sturggled as did they all. It is very hard to put keepers in the boat.

Well said Bill,I got nothing better to do about 3:00 pm.would be glad to go with ya.

Snakem Out.

Bill, thanks for the "heads-up" on the disgusting fish handling/abuse at the weigh-in.

I see the weigh-in is at 3:00 P.M. at Port of Kimberling City Marina today. I'm planning on going there and getting a little vocal if this nonsense continues.

Yet another sad case of tournament officials/organizers putting on a show for the cameras and sponsors to rake in yet more $$$$ and to heck with the health of the fish. This isn't the first, nor probably the last time the FLW has been a bunch of jerks at TR.

Stren is one of the sponsors ? It's the "Everstart" series which is Wally World's battery line. If you're ticked-off about this suggest you send an email to their Corporate Headquarters complaining about it. www.stren.com and www.flwoutdoors.com Use the contact us menu at the bottom of the screen. Follow the money ! Tell them what is wrong and that you aren't purchasing their products anymore because of this and you're spreading the word (true) via the Internet.

I sent an email to info@flwoutdoors.com - only email address I could find for them. I expressed my concern that I had heard about excessive fish handling during the weigh in. We'll see if they reply. If they do, I'll post it here.

Heard back quickly from the Stren folks. They were quick to point out they were no longer affiliated with the FLW tournaments and directed me to the current Everstart sponsors. After watching the weigh-in on Friday I could see why.

To date, have not heard a peep from the FLW people....!
