Members Big Mike Posted January 9, 2012 Members Posted January 9, 2012 Went by the landing yesterday to dock the boat and get a bite to eat after A long day of fishing and noticed that there is no public dock. I new at one time bass pro Had one so I went to it but it was banged up pretty Good and had a no tresspass sign on it. Anybody know if there are plans To put another public dock at the landing? You think The folks at the landing would want people to come Off the water and spend money Daryk Campbell Sr and MickinMO 2
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted January 9, 2012 Root Admin Posted January 9, 2012 You can park at the dock where the Branson Lakequeen and where Short Smalls use to be. It says private but till they rent all the stalls, they don't mind. I've asked the owner, Justin Gage. Have not heard anything about BP and their dock but I'll ask.

Members Lawrence816 Posted October 2, 2018 Members Posted October 2, 2018 Is there still not anywhere you can dock and walk into the landing? Would be nice to stop in the middle of fishing and grab a bite to eat MickinMO 1
snagged in outlet 3 Posted October 2, 2018 Posted October 2, 2018 There are curtesy docks there. Daryk Campbell Sr 1
MickinMO Posted October 2, 2018 Posted October 2, 2018 There are courtesy docks out in front, but the railing appears fixed and if you have people in the boat that can't climb over or through the railing that doesn't work. Daryk Campbell Sr 1
Travis Swift Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 I've docked at the lake queen plenty of times and had lunch on the water at the Paddle wheel bar and grill. Decent food and nice to set outside and eat on Taney. I've also docked at the courtesy docks and gonna up and ate at Buffalo Wild Wings where I could look down and see the boat. Also ran into bass pro for a broken pedestal seat and docked at a courtesy dock. Never had an issue one and it's a fun treat. Daryk Campbell Sr and MickinMO 2
Gatorjet Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 The small docks along the Landing aren't really designed for access in and out of boats. Double rail all the way around that you have to crawel through or over. There are six public slips at the cruise boat dock to accommodate patrons of the Paddle Wheel. I have always wondered why there aren't more convenient public slips at other places along the landing. I guess they don't think fishermen on Taneycomo would pull in for dining in the restaurants. Heck, if my wife and daughter come down with me I could drop them off to shop and then come back to pick them up later in the day. Then they don't have to deal with traffic.
