Pete, why don't you chip in with a couple of guys and buy a boat, then you can fish your 6-7 times a year? If they aren't generating then you can wade. Doesnt have to be a jet drive, just a drift boat perhaps. I wouldn't let the lack of control over the generation schedules ruin the thing you love.

Sold my river boat a few years ago and still rent when I have to.

I can't wrap my noggin around the idea of running a few units around the clock instead of 6 all night and 0 during the day.

Used to be that way back before the internet.
