Trout Commander Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 Yeah, it's a great podcast about a topic a lot of people feel strongly about. No one ever said that it wasn't. I was only concerned about the spam, which I think is a violation of board rules too. I have spent most of my money on fly fishing and beer. The rest I just wasted. exiledguide Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 Spam is pretty good fried especially when used to add to a fried egg and a nice slice of american cheese on an english muffin. Some folks are awfully thin skinned these days. Cut into chunks with eggs, potatoes obrien, onion and Tony Chassere cajun seasoning scrambeld and fried soft with a little chedar cheese and I know I did something right the day before especially if it's if it's covered with a good thick sausage gravey.Maybe the gravy is for something good I did the Night before......

Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted January 26, 2012 Root Admin Posted January 26, 2012 First, I deal with spammers every day, behind the scenes, deleting their attempts to register on the forum and spread their filth. When someone posts multiple times, many times they're new to posting and don't realize that one post is enough. A polite PM from me corrects the issue. I learned my lesson a few years back-- not to jump on someone and correct them on the board but doing it by PM. Correcting them in front of everyone is an embarrassment at best and it starts arguments like this one we've had today on the forum. No good ever comes of it. Never. It's been a long day. Good night
fishinwrench Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 I'm at queeney park now. Will deal with this later. But this is sad that this has happened. Exact reason people leave the forum... Too much crap being posted and I don't mean a radio broadcast. I know, right? It's all those darn people who think independantly, they always ruin everything.
Outside Bend Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 4. that didymo is native to North America, and NZ's didy came from HERE on a pair of waders. ( yet when it comes back it is considered invasive and deadly). The snot thickens. Rainbow trout, brown trout, striped bass, northern pike, smallmouth bass, and walleye are all native to North America, too. But moving them from their native range into new environs can cause a whole lot of trouble for an ecosystem. That said, there are some areas in Canada where didymo is native and has been known to exist for almost a hundred years without any issues, but for some reason has become a nuisance in the past 20 years or so. I don't have the time right now to really listen to the podcast (or get into a three-page discussion of whether it qualifies as spam), but I'll get on it this evening. Thanks! <{{{><
Members Liv2flyfish Posted January 26, 2012 Author Members Posted January 26, 2012 I have unregistered myself from this site and will never be back again. This envirenment is too hostile. The people who patrol these streets are a bunch of thugs. That fine, I don't want to hang out with people like this anyway. I may or may not have something to say about you people on my podcast. Probaly not though. I am an avid fly fisher. I love fishing the Ozarks and the White River watershed from the spring creeks to the tailwaters.
Justin Spencer Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 Don't let a few people bother you, of the thousands on this site only a few complained and I bet they did it because they were bored not because they really cared that much. Only quote I can think of is. "I'm taking my ball and going home!"
