Ya got that right. That's why it's so hard to really figure out where this guy is coming from. He got very defensive, and seemed to be upset about a comment I made about him maybe being a guide trying to dig up some business. I don't think calling somebody a guide is an insult, do you? I haven't seen any pictures of all his great catches either. Walleye, trout, smalies, what ever he says he is so carefully documenting his catches of.

In my book, referring to someone as a "guide" would be a compliment. Who knows, he may not appreciate what taney has to offer.

It wasn't intended that way. He mentioned giving people his tips, and secretes in a PM if they asked. Just left everything out there hanging on his posts. I've seen it on other forums when you send a PM you get an advertisement back for a guide service, or a book for sale. I did send him a PM to apologize, but haven't gotten a reply. He's probably PO'ed enough he will just ignore it.

I was trout fishing 2 years ago at outlet 1 and on the upper side there was a gentleman had 4 walleye on his stringer about 2 lbs each nice eaters then he hauled in a 4.5lb smallie this was during generation and had been generating. Looks like Taney has potenial for some fun fishing when the trout arnt biting.
