Guest Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 Thats a big ole largehead right there! Very nice report. Question: whats the name of the taxidermist that does your replica mounts? I want to surprise my wife with a replica smallmouth for her birthday, thats coming up.
Members James32962 Posted March 3, 2012 Members Posted March 3, 2012 Thanks for the advice..This is a great site... If ever any of you are in ALabama, I will share spots there..I grew up on Lake Guntersville, Weiss, Neely Henry and Wedowee... Fishing here is a bit different... Reminds me of Lake Lanier in Georgia when I was stationed there....
Quillback Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 Great reports Bill, those are some quality fish you're getting!
Bill Babler Posted March 3, 2012 Author Posted March 3, 2012 Don Frank www.donstaxidermy.com Smithville Missouri. Probably the No. 1 Cold water taxidermist in the world. Current World Fish Carving Champion. Replica Expert Inovator and designer, on Warm Water species. You can read a newspaper thru his fins, It looks like they could get back into the water and swim. The State Record Brown Trout Mounted at Lilleys' Landing is Spectactular and that is an example of Don Frank Taxidermy. 816-532-3500 http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com

He does excellent work and is priced very fair.
