Smalliebigs Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 Just tried her out, and I'm impressed. Threw a streamer standing up, got 2 chases but no hook ups. Amy got out in it and she was able to stand also with no trouble. Paddled the dog around a little, no problem with a 40 pound Boykin on board, a lab probably would fit, but would be pushing it a little. My favorite thing about it is with the seat in the up position you sit nearly as high a a canoe (and are just as stable). Sitting low in a kayak is why I have always been a canoe man, but I will now take these over a canoe on a day trip. There is also enough room for storage that an overnight trip could be done, but you wouldn't be camping in quite the style that Gavin does! Justin, that has got be the coolest looking rental craft avaiable in Missouri I've seen in awhile.....very nice and the yacht club idea is brillant, I think it will pay off big time.....kudos

mic Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 $35, but for those on the forum who come down and want to rent 2, or any other rental to go with it I'll rent it to you for the low, low price of $30 from now until May (just remind me when you come down). You know Justin...you should reserve those two just for your family here on the forum and save them from the abuses of the general public
Justin Spencer Posted March 11, 2012 Author Posted March 11, 2012 You know Justin...you should reserve those two just for your family here on the forum and save them from the abuses of the general public I am going to charge and extra $5 which seems to be enough to keep the jackwagons away from things. I think it will be primarily rented by fishermen and maybe the occasional "big boy" that needs a little more stablility. My main concern is keeping the seat good, replacements are $90.
