Sounds as if the white river system will once again be hammered with massive amounts of rainfall. It would sure be nice if they were wrong on their forecast. The weather map showed areas from camden county west to the state line, and south to the state line including arkansas. All of this area is in a flood watch starting tomorrow.

If Predictions of the rain hold true I'm betting flood gates get opened Thursday or Friday.

Lake norfork is sitting within 3ft of where it was last year when all this crap happened.

everything in this post is purely opinion and is said to annoy you.

I know it's not how we want it, but we need it. I hope that no one is harmed or endangered and secondly, I hope that no one loses property or suffers damages, but this country needs the rain. We are dry and the creeks are low. The farmers had a rough go last summer all across the lower midwest. I hate it that it always comes as an extreme these days, or so it seems to this hillbilly, but we still need the water.

For cripe sake it's just some rain. The way everyone is talking it's like a major catastrophic event is looming.....Have I missed something ?

Hi FW. It is a major rainfall predicted. I was night fishing below trd in 04 when 5 inches of rain fell in about a 4 hr period. Tr lake came up 4 feet overnight and 4 flood gates were open by dawn. 4 gates is not a major issue as long as they can keep taney below 718. If beaver opens up that compounds the problem. We need rain and hopefully it comes at a moderate rate.

Well they lead storm that came through didn't leave near as much as it looked like it would. I know that part of the forecast invloved the line stalling and that is always an iffy forecast.

Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
