Well it depends what you mean by actual harm, did the guys physically touch Al's neice? no. Did they expose themselves in front of her? yes...actual harm done whether they touched her or not.

Yeah she's a "victim" because her eyes couldn't look in any other direction. LOL

When I was 14 my mom pulled some cookies fresh out of the oven, she told me to wait.....but I just couldn't.....OUCH !

Am I a victim?

Man, Justin, that's just vicious against the Royals....and after they won that series against the Rays too.......

And I have to disagree Mitch... a 14 yr old should be able to handle the sight of a grown person naked without being scarred for life. Now if they were making crude comments, and lewd gestures while they were exposing themselves, then that's another story. That would be rude and crass, but hardly something I'd be freaking out about and I have a 12 yr old daughter. She's mature enough to know that kind of behavior is just dumb stupidity that is to be ignored unless it becomes threatening.

Even the Puritans weren't as uptight as some of the folks I've met in this State. There used to be a time when people bathed in the river, ya know? And I'm sure they didn't do so fully clothed.

So let me get this straight...you think that exposing oneself to a young girl is okay because it's on the river? You think having two guys who you KNOW you can't handle without a gun making lewd remarks to a kid that you're responsible for is okay because it's on the river? Wow.

No Al, it's not "ok".

Neither is making up hypothetical situations and claiming that they happen routinely in order to get a point across.

You know, it got me to thinking today. I consume on average a 30 pack of Natty Lite on an average float trip weekend on the Spring River (2 floats). That usually generates a few gallons of urine during the 2 day period. Several hundred people dispensing the same amount. That really adds up toward the end where the drunks are all jumping off of the tree at the waterfall. Yum.

How much water flow does it take to dilute that to the amount that really should not make a difference in the taste of the water inhaled by the stump jumpers?

I hardly ever see anyone drop a candy bar in the stream....

Nobody is saying it is "okay". But how you react to it is what I'm pointing out. Typically the more you feed into their behavior, the more you'll do it. Like small kids, they are just doing it to get a rise out of you and if you acknowledge it, they usually keep it up and it escalates. Sometimes ignoring the nonsense is the best way to deescalate it.
