Fished about a dozen places between CC and Shaws Bluff. Came back with 11 keepers. Four came off standing timber (10' deep), and 7 from steep rocky banks 4 to 7' deep). Surface temp was 82 and the thermocline was at 12'. Tough day to be out in a pontoon boat. Wind sure did bounce us around. It took us an hour to take our boat out of the lake. You all have heard the story before....people blocking the drive, parked behind us so we couldn't back out, parked on the ramp to put away their tackle and such. Don't you love the summer idiots. Hopefully the next trip will be a little better.

I guess you learn just how many idiots are out there once you get a boat. Tried to fish last saturday down toward the dam & the jet skiers would run between us & the bank & wave!! They have no clue!! Surely nobody could be that rude however I do believe they could be that ignorant. Wish I'd had a 3 oz sinker to get his attention :)

Yea. People seem to lose their intelligence around water, a lot. No weekends (swimming season) and no holidays for me out there.

I started putting up my orange Skier Flag when I am fishing I really think it helps. The jet Skiers must think at anytime I could fire up the Merc and run em over ??

they have the same rights as anyone here to enjoy the public waters.

LMAO

Boy oh boy, you have truly mellowed with age ! :)

If I had more time I'd hunt down one of those classic archived ATL rants just for a "then and now" comparison. LOL

be my guest FW. The ATL forum was classic. I guess we all mellow with age, But public lakes are public lakes, just like public streams are public streams.

No one mentioned those unintelligent people shouldn't have the use of public waters Mr. Rapp. Just some common manners. Just like we all want from each other.
