Members crazyfishinchic Posted June 25, 2012 Members Posted June 25, 2012 Looking for a small boat that will fit in the bed of our truck. 12 foot or smaller. Pond prowler or pedal boat is preferred but let me know what you have. Have cash or have a 83 Honda 750 Interceptor for trade if boat is worth that much. GO CHIEFS!!!
Wayne SW/MO Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 Have you thought about a kayak, very versatile? Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
Members boatboy54 Posted July 10, 2012 Members Posted July 10, 2012 I have a Bass Hunter. one piece roto-cast. check it out on the web. if interested/ e-mail tomaustin54@yahoo.com
MoSportsmen Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 Paddle boat I would not choose for fishing, or anything else unless someone gave me one and I had kids that wanted to play in it. For the price of that bike I would think you could get a Hobie Mirage drive SOT kayak......not there is a hands free fishing boat! Messing about in boats
Stoneroller Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 I agree a paddle boat is the worst thing you could use. If it's just you, I would lean towards a kayak, but i'm partial to them anyway. no gas cost, no boat registration, you don't need ALL the coast guard safety stuff that a boat requires, no launch fees most places, etc. Fish On Kayak Adventures, LLC. There is in IL. FYI only.
Jerry Rapp Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 10 or 12 foot jon boat. You can get them for $100 - 150 if you look around. And then there is a thing called a sculling paddle. You sit on the front seat and scull with the paddle. It is a lost art for sure, but I did it for many years.
