KCRIVERRAT Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 and a lot of folks believe the "weather forecasters" when they project weather trends for many years out. They can't forecast for 5 days, 3 days, or much less one day. Think about it. I almost bit on it Jerry. Almost. Whew that was close. HUMAN RELATIONS MANAGER @ OZARK FISHING EXPEDITIONS
Jerry Rapp Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 with all due respect to the NWS, they have to be conservative in their forecasts because they get crucified if they "miss" on the low side of any weather event.

fishinwrench Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 Yeah whenever a storm is brewing they go all apocaliptic. But on a normal day they'll tell you the wind will be a lovely 8-10mph breeze out of the SSW.... then when you get out on the water it blows at 20+ Never fails.
