jdmidwest Posted November 20, 2012 Author Posted November 20, 2012 Shooting an animal that is damaging your personal property is legal in the state of MO. That was confirmed today when I filed the complaint against the owners of the feral livestock with the local sheriff deputy. In the state of MO, if you fail to control your pets or livestock, ie. keep them contained on your own property, you the owner are in violation of a law called animal neglect/abuse. If the pig gets into my hive of bees, it will be threatening my livestock. If it does, I have the legal right to shoot to kill the animal. The mule was damaging my personal property and I spared its life. I used a less than lethal load developed by Fiocchi for use on people in riot control. The load loses velocity and the pellets don't penetrate. But the flash and bang is like a full power load. ness Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 I've seen the damage a feral hog can do. If it was my property, I'd want to keep it out--especially if I had put the time, money and effort into a bee hive like you have, JD. I don't think I'd just sit by and let it happen. But...JD the signature line is kinda cooky, and doesn't really add to the reasoned discussion of stuff around here. Just kinda draws the worst out. But hey, it's your signature line. John

Chief Grey Bear Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 JD's not far off the mark, I'm no GW fan but certainly no Obama fan.... How come, minus a few exceptions all the die hard "Obama can do no wrong" fans I know are all on a shoestring budget? When you become more financially secure you will start to question why over 50% of your hard earned money is gone right off the top, spent on God knows what. Have you ever met a government program that's fiscally solvent? and that includes the military. When you get a little wiser you won't miss the ponytail you left in your humanities class, and start to realize your professor was full of dung. The reason 50% of my hard earned money is gone right off of the top is because I have to subsidize the rich. As well as the corparations they run. There ain't a bit of truth in that signature and you k now it. You won't admit it but you know it. Are programs abused? You bet. And there is just as much abuse from both the rich and the poor. jdmidwest Posted November 20, 2012 Author Posted November 20, 2012 We all know what happens to feral mules. What about feral cows??? Feral kids?? And reading that blatantly false dribble in your sig, just what is the new low for Wall Street?? Feral Kids are kept in check by the local child welfare agency. Cows are processed accordingly. As far as the sig, it is to counter your dribble, which was false. Surely you do not think we are better off now. If you do, you need to get off the meds and take a whiff of reality. junkman Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 That picture is so obviously faked. Look how fuzzy it is, and there's a dang wheel barrow in the back. Let's see you give it a bath in the toilet LOL

My views very much follow Winston Churchill’s quote” Show me a young Conservative and I'll show you someone with no heart. Show me an old Liberal and I'll show you someone with no brains.” As I become older and more financially secure I too see a large percentage of my income disappear into the void of good intensions and no accountably. I would love to embrace the central conservative points of personal and fiscal responsibility but it’s hard for me to let go of intellect, reason, environmental stewardship, tolerance, religious freedom and science to do so. This weekend it was the pointer 78 sp in ghost minnow that worked best. A lot of fish followed the bait to the boat, they took it just as it I was going to lift it out of the water. It was as though they weren’t that interested until they thought the bait was getting away.
