Members czer11
Hello to all, my name is czer. I live in the Los Angeles are. I love trout fishing but i'm having problems getting a bite around here. I usually fish trout near a pond by my house. I think i have bought every powerbait at walmart with no luck, My rig set up is 2lbs test line, #12 treble hook, sliding egg sinker about 18inches above the hook. I was read around here about BOSCO SECRET TROUT BAIT but no one really posted exactly the ingredients. If anyone has the bosco recipe i would love to try it out, or if anyone have a magic bait out there i would love to try it out. Sometimes i feel on just giving up on trout fishing..... any help is appreciated guys

Gavin
All of those prepared baits are very effective...So its not your bait, its your method. Hatchery trout dont usually hug bottom in ponds...They tend to cruise up in the water column. Fish too deep and they will never find your bait. Buy a couple of bobbers next time your at wally world...Start about 2' deep and adjust from there...a smaller hook would be a good idea too. Good luck. Members Tommy Neil
I use these hooks with powerbait eggs with good luck. http://www.fishusa.com/Dai-Riki-135-Scud-Hook_p.html I use a bb shot about 18 inch to 2 foot above the hook. For me smaller is better for hooks. You can hide the hook inside the egg.
