Ham Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 Aggravating when you find a BIG group of fish like that and can't get em to bite. Sounds like you tried some good lures, but sometimes they just won't bite. I might have tried a deep running jerk bait, but a spoon would have been my first choice. Dutch Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 How do you get images from your hds to your computer? I have been wanting to do that. Is there a place to go to show you that? You have to save them to an SD card then load them into a file on your computer. Then you have to join a photo hosting site and put the shots on the site. From there you can load them into a post in a forum like this one. I learned how to do it several years ago by reading things like this: http://forums.basspro.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=002724
GNSfishing Posted December 16, 2012 Author Posted December 16, 2012 How do you get images from your hds to your computer? I have been wanting to do that. Is there a place to go to show you that? Well you need to turn on screen capture on. Then press the power/light button and you will capture what ever is on your screen. Then press pages and goto waypoints, trails, tracks goto files and press enter. Scroll down and stop on files. Press enter and you should see screenshots, highlight and press enter. You should see the list screenshots. Press menu and you should see the copy command. You can copy one or the whole list to a SD card. Take the SD card to your computer either view them on the card or copy them to you computer. Then you can view them or attach them to e-mail or to this form. Once you do it will be easy from now on. Hope I did not lose you in this if I did ask questions someone will jump in there and give you a helping hand.

Yep, I even thought if I had a little bit of dynamite at least I could of seen what I was trying to get hooked, as many there were I should of snagged one with the spoon. I could watch the spoon on my HDS as I let it down to the fish. Not a one came to the spoon to check it out.
Sore Thumbs Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 Bring a cast net. If they are bass just let em go. At least you will know
Troy Gregg Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 Bry, the fish in your screen shots are stationary, located in tree tops and holding tight... this is not a pattern whites nor shad are known for, both of these fish move and move often. Notice the fish in Dutch's white bass screen shot, they are all moving leaving a slight streak effect. You are looking at either a large school of crappie or bluegill. Notice to the right of the tree some look to be nosed upwards even? The crappie I have been catching are down around that depth but will only take a small crappie jig held in their face for a period of time. I haven't had much success with moving baits, this could explain why they didn't bite? Troy Gregg
Troy Gregg Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 lol sorry for that bry, I read the wrong line. Troy Gregg
