ness Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 My recollection was that the affair was substantiated, but a quick Google didn't turn up anything more than 'alleged affair', etc. So, I'll back away from that. Sure thought he had though. Poor guy's stuck with that no matter what. John

joeD Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 I didn't realize how bad it is in KC. Tebow? You're kidding right? With any luck, the Chiefs will hire Andy Reid. That will make you better. Forget about your quarterback pipedreams.

LOL, yes it's that bad in KC, when Tebow is seen as a potential "upgrade" at the QB position, you know things have hit rock bottom.

Flysmallie Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 Let's hope so because it looks like he is coming.
Wayne SW/MO Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 I would imagine that with Hunt leading the search, Reid, if he does come, will decide the first and second picks at a minimum. Pioli is probably on the way out, as he should be and he's probably still there because Hunt doesn't want to do two searches at once and the coach is most important. If Reid comes to KC you can bet he will pick the QB. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
Quillback Posted January 3, 2013 Author Posted January 3, 2013 If Reid comes to KC, I would think that would rule out bringing in Vick, not that is was likely, but if Reid benched Vick in Philly, I can't see him lobbying to bring him to KC.

Vick might be a somewhat affordable option that Reid might be comfortable with. I say he either has given up on Vick, or will want to bring him in, no in between on this one. Seems like Vick's benching would go against Reid wanting him in KC but who knows, anyone is better than the three we have, except Gabbert.
