Bitethis, check out the new lucky "e" strike sticks. just under 10 and they are almost a perfect match to the megabass. Have been using them a couple times this winter and seem to work fine.

Bill, I have been taking limits on the plus one at stockton almost every trip since December. Most days everyone in the boat gets a limit. The plus one is a walleye killer. The extra few feet puts the bait where it needs to be. I found see thru glitter ayu is the go to color up here.

Good info. thanks

people are really pushing the high dollar baits all over this site, lol

you can catch a boat load of walleye now on jigs with some Berkley Gulp. I never go fishing without it, the stuff is awesome !

It catches suspended fish, bottom fish, it doesn't matter, it's about all I use for walleye when it's really cold. In about a month I'll start throwing sticks, and won't have fish them so darn slow like you do now..

What type of Berkley Gulp do you use for walleye? What size jig heads for suspended fish?

I'm happy to catch any walleye over 18 inches. So I take all the advice I can find. Thanks Bry.

when they are staging, like right now, I'll use a Goby if they are on bottom and the minnow for suspended fish.

I use walleye jig heads 90% of the time in 1/4 ,3/8, or 1/2. I have a box with assorted sizes and colors.

Are you hooking the Gulp through the nose, or sliding the bait down on the shaft? and if you care to divulge your color of choice, I wouldn't be mad at ya ;-)

So I've got an opportunity to buy some Husky Jerks for a little less than I can get Rogues in person. I don't want/need a full box of stickbaits, so which should I go with?
