Bird Watcher Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 Hey guys, I've been picking up money by the sack full every day. It's been kind of crazy, picked up 5 grand the other day. It was kind of crazy. Just thought you guys might want to know that I've been tearing it up. I know where they've been catching those crappie....right in the corner of the mouth.
duckydoty Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 And I thought I would be bored when duck season ended. Headed to Roaring River in a little bit to see my buddy Tim, then have a little get together to go to down at Taney this afternoon and a little grill session to do at the pavilion, then I want to head over to Powersite to have another try at them Walters over there, but now I'm hearing vicious rumors of crappie biting on the Rock and Chris is finding money by the bag full. Not enough hours in the day to do everything I want to do today! A Little Rain Won't Hurt Them Fish.....They're Already Wet!! Visit my website at.. Ozark Trout Runners
Tightline Posted January 26, 2013 Author Posted January 26, 2013 Vicious rumor, ayy Ducky,no wonder their are hardly any post about catching anymore theres always somebody whining or crying about something..If you guys would read what Bill Babler posted about winter time crappie on this forum about 4 lines down from this then you might get an idea of how and where as he absolutely nailed it right on the head. You know Babler can catch something besides bass or maybe you just thought he was talking out of his @%* I dont know. Thanks to you guys who are confident enough in your fishing abilitys to compliment our catch and our great day on the water. Tightline
duckydoty Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 Hey Tightline. That is awesome you found a great mess of crappie. Did not mean anything by the vicious rumor statement. Been hearing others are getting into them on the Rock also. I know Babler can get into fish where ever he goes. Seen him in action in Alaska. In my eyes, your post gives others hope on whats out there. Thanks for sharing with us. Now, I'm out the door to play with some slick backs. Tightline didn't see anything that looked or sounded like crying or whining on this thread? whenever someone posts about a catch, they know they are going to be asked 2 questions: where and what did you catch them on? you provided some good info on depth and lure and if you don't want to share more, then we all respect that.

Tightline Posted January 26, 2013 Author Posted January 26, 2013 Hey Ducky thanks for the compliment,I just tend to take things the wrong way I guess sometimes especially early in the mornings. I enjoy your posts especially in the spring so keep it up. I know that there are alot of fishers that would love every detail of a catch,me I just like to hear about anglers success and that they are biten. Josh, if you are from the same bunch of Holts that I know then fishing just comes easy for you, especially crappie fishing nice nice bunch of slabs in your pic,way to go. Fish on and on and on!!!
Josh Holt Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 If its jimmie and mark you know then yeah im from that bunch lol
