Members MikeH Posted May 13, 2013 Members Posted May 13, 2013 Mine came the other day. Nice tying everyone. -Mike
ness Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 Thanks for that info. The workmanship on those is incredible. I've always wanted to get an airbrush, but have never pulled the trigger because I don't do much stuff that would require it anymore. What type are you using? John
Gavin Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 Fly smallies popper is outstanding...but I'd like to put some names to the other flies. Claim your work gents.
ness Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Mine were the yellow poppers. You know, the crappy ones. John
mic Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Mine was the red and white fly and the popper made from a bobber.
Members MikeH Posted May 14, 2013 Members Posted May 14, 2013 I tied the red and white deer hair poppers and the articulated sculpin. -Mike
Flysmallie Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 When I receive mine I'll post a pic of each one separately. Ness I'm using a nice badger and also a little cheap $15 dollar job. I want to get a Copic system that uses markers for the color. Right now I'm using automotive paint. While the color possibilities are endless the cleanup between colors is a pain. With the Copic system you just pull one marker out and pop in another one. But I would still have to have a regular airbrush to apply the clear.
Lancer09 Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Mine is the deerhair diver w/ the orange tail and the cone head bugger looking deal.
DaddyO Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Mine are the Wilson's Bass Bully's. One in olive and one in black. See the image in a previous post in this thread. DaddyO We all make decisions; but, in the end, our decisions make us.
Flysmallie Posted May 19, 2013 Posted May 19, 2013 So did everyone receive their flies? Am I the only one that did not?
