Cabela's Prices

Cabela's in Rogers seems prety pricey on a lot of stuff. I'm noticing Academy, Wally World, and even Southtown Sporting Goods beats them on a lot of pricing.

Are you guys (and Gals) noticing the same?

Yup, I go by when i have time to kill but if i need fishing gear its HLS or BP when im in springfield, Cabelas is just to expensive when the same thing is cheaper a few blocks away.

I have been in Cablea stores from Nebraska to Minnesota to South Texas. All of them are very proud of their merchandise.

You can find some good deals sometimes in the Bargain Cave (online that is, I don't know if the Rogers store has one). But other than that I go elsewhere for my bass stuff.

I lived near a Cabela's in MN for years, too. Most of their stuff is priced at MSRP. They have more sales now than they used to, though. I also find the prices at HLS to be consistently better. I do buy stuff at Cabela's, but if it's something HLS carries, I always check there first to see if they have any in stock.

They do have a bargain cave at the Rogers store. I've gotten some GREAT deals in there so far. Bought a stainless steel BBQ grill for my dirt bike trailer for $50 last week. Normally over $100. It was a display model, but in perfect shape.
