On the flats? We almost got to 10 feet of water on that flat but EVERYONE was out deep so we didn't go on in.

Has this crappie pattern been duplicated on different areas of the lake, or just mainly in one or two river or creek arms? Thanks for all the advice.

That rain water has warmed it up,I can't believe we aren't hearing any reports out of Long or Cricket they are there but the water is clearer and cooler and the bite is always a week or 2 behind the James.Or maybe they are just being quiet. :)

I am also surprised that the whites aren't being caught right now, espeially in the Capefair area, we usually are killing them there.

Good report.

We are going to see about the Whites. The water level was perfect for deep fishing white bass this year and me and all of my deep fishing buddies, caugtht a big ZERO.

I have never in the last 30 yrs. on Table Rock had a worse deep fishing winter for white bass. They just should have been all over that deep stuff with the K's and the millions of shad.

I'm really puzzled by this. It will be interesting how the run is this year, with them completely vanishing off the map for the Winter.

They are usually just stacked in the Big Indian at Baxter, at the flats at Campbell Pt. at the mouth of the White River and on the multiple flats and channel swings up the James. Nada.

Maybe it is Table Rock's time like 2003 was for Bull. They died by the millions.
